Y'know, I've made a couple of crappy comics making fun of hurricane Ike in the past week. When I say that Ike can't take a joke and is coming for my skin, I'm not kidding. It's headed straight for where I live, and the winds outside are already picking up and smelling ever-so-slightly of salt. We've had a tropical storm skim by us once before, but the magnitude of this storm is increasing and it's looking like it could be a direct hit. It's made landfall today and is expected to hit us tomorrow. I'm going to suit up my costume for a mini photo shoot, and we'll see how that works out with the storm hitting. If I'm happy with how they come out, expect photos soon!

EDIT: I woke up this morning and looked at the radar. To my dismay, Ike has changed course and is going to miss us by a small margin. It's a little breezier than normal, but other than that, nothing. ._.
